While academic transcripts are an important factor for admittance into International Australian Academy, we carefully consider a wide range of factors. From accomplishments both in school and outside the classroom, to personal attributes and experiences, these often overlooked indicators are strong reflections of the qualities needed to succeed both academically and personally.
Where is the school campus located?
The International Australian Academy campus is located in the hub of the CBD at 62-64 Gawler Place, just off Rundle Mall. This location is perfect for staff and students as it provides easy access to all kinds of shopping and entertainment during lunch breaks and after class. For international students this location provides an excellent avenue to witness and be involved in all the many local events that take place in the heart of Adelaide CBD.
Do you have English Language Support?
Additional English language support is offered to international students focusing on specific areas of need. For more intensive support, students can enrol in General English Course to help them with their language development.
What is involved in your courses?
All courses at IAA are designed in consultation with employers, industry groups and our university partners. This ensures that participants will be up to date with industry practices and trends and that the skills and knowledge included are current.
Participants will be provided with a timetable at the commencement of the course which will detail the assessment submission deadlines. As the course is competency-based, assessments are provided throughout the course and participants must achieve competency in each assessment. If competency cannot be achieved, a further training need may be identified and addressed accordingly.
